We have carried out 18 empowerment programs with starter packs provided for the beneficiaries of the programs with over 1,000 people impacted. To ensure sustainability, 5 vocational centers have been built in 5 different countries in Africa and these centres continue to train and empower people.

Through our total schooling program, we have provided feeding for over 1,000 children as hunger was identified as one of the reasons why the children dropped out of school or fared poorly in school.

We have built one maternity center and two health centres and carried out numerous medical outreaches which have impacted well over 10,000 people.

The Provision of Quality Education is one of our strongest areas of operation. We have built, equipped and staffed 9 primary and secondary schools in 5 countries in Africa in mostly rural areas and also set up schools or provided access to education for children in 5 other countries in Africa. This combined effort has facilitated the graduation of well over 5,000 children at primary and secondary levels. We have also provided scholarships for some of the children to polytechnics and universities.

Gender specific empowerment programs for women have been provided. We have also focused programs for the girl child and keyed into the WASH program to end period poverty in some of the communities where we operate.

This is a strong area of operation where we have built more than 30 boreholes in 30 communities in 8 different countries in Africa through our flagship Water 4 Life Program and keying into the UN WASH program.

Implementation of Solar Energy to power AMG provided/built boreholes and schools in alignment with the organisations’ aspirations for the use of clean and sustainable energy sources in rural communities.

AMG has partnered with public and private sector organisations for the implementation of projects. The organisation also provides support to other not-for-profit organisations focused on support for vulnerable people and children. AMG is also working to encourage and promote more effective public, public-private and other civil society partnerships, building on the experience and resourcing strategies of partnerships.

Affordable and Clean energy are two areas under review that we are working to incorporate into the basket of interventions to enhance the living standards of all rural communities where we have a footprint. We will do these through strategic partnerships in fulfillment of SDGs 7, 11, 13 and 17 as we are determined to leave every community better than we met it ensuring that we do not only raise the standard of living, but that we prepare the community for a green and sustainable future.
