Special Needs Care Training Orientation

by Adebusola Adu

A Strong Start with Over 270 Participants

On Monday, August 18th, 2025, Africa Missions Global successfully hosted the orientation program for the Special Needs Care Training, with over 270 participants in attendance. The session marked the official start of what promises to be a transformative learning experience for individuals passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and adults with special needs.

Meet the Facilitators

During the orientation, participants were introduced to the team of facilitators who will be leading the training sessions. Each facilitator brings expertise, practical knowledge, and a wealth of experience in special needs care. Their introductions provided learners with a sense of the skills and perspectives they will gain throughout the one-month program.

The orientation also served as an interactive platform where participants were encouraged to ask questions and share their expectations. All inquiries were addressed appropriately, ensuring that learners felt informed, motivated, and ready to begin the training journey.

Assignments and Requirements

One of the key takeaways from the session was the emphasis on commitment and consistency. Participants were reminded that excellence in special needs care requires dedication and intentional practice. To support this, learners will be given daily and weekly assignments to reinforce their knowledge. These assignments—many of which are practical—will require access to a well-lit environment and a good camera phone to ensure effective demonstration and submission.

Training Schedule

The training schedule was also shared with participants. Classes will be held three times a week—on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays—providing a structured and balanced learning rhythm.

Building Skills for a Greater Goal

The Special Needs Care Training is more than just a program; it is an opportunity to equip learners with the knowledge, empathy, and skills needed to bring lasting impact to their communities. With over 270 participants already on board, the journey toward empowerment and excellence has officially begun.
